Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri was not behind Kepa’s fine for disobeying his instructions during Sunday’s EFL Cup final loss to Manchester City.
The Spaniard was fined a week’s wages after he refused to come off for Willy Caballero.
And it was Chelsea’s decision to sanction the 24-year-old.
He said: “It was the club.
“At this club there are some rules so he has to accept the club’s decision.”
